Thomas Cook Airlines are scheduling a special one-off flight to The Gambia on 20th April 2011 for a 7 night stay from Newcastle Airport. We are putting together a special Nature/Birding/Beach tour to coincide with this flight, with an expected cost of £550 per person (reduction for children/families) and will include local airport transfers, accomodation, transport, all meals and a Gambian Tourist Authority licenced nature guide throughout your stay.

This will be a fully inclusive week (excluding international flights and travel insurance). The week will consist of visits to well known nature areas of woods and forests, Abuko Nature Reserve, the sacred crocodile pools, and a leisurely boat trip with plenty of time for cultural experiences with the happy smiling Gambians whilst visiting the local markets and soaking up the sun on the famous beaches.

You will have the undivided attention of a Gambian Tourist Authority licenced nature guide throughout your stay to look after you and help you have a great time in The Gambia.


Special Trip One Week Ininerary

Day 1.  Arrive and pick-up from the Airport to hotel Paradise Inn. Dinner at Paradise Inn.
 
Day 2. Morning excursion to Abuko Nature Reserve. Lunch at Lamin Lodge and afternoon boat trip at Lamin Lodge.
Dinner at Paradise Inn.
 
Day 3. A trip to Crocodile Pool at Bakau and visit to Banjul Albart Market.  Lunch at Banjul and afternoon city tour of Banjul          including visiting the Museum at Arch 22. Dinner at Paradise Inn.
 
Day 4. Morning excursion to Tanji fish market and village Museum. Lunch and relax at Sanyang Beach.
Dinner at Paradise Inn.
 
Day 5. Morning excursion to Kartong and boat trip to Alhine River. Lunch and afternoon visit to Brikama Craft Market.
Dinner at Paradise Inn.
 
Day 6 A Nature and Bird Watching trip to Burfut Wood. Lunch at Kotu Beach. Afternoon Birding Watching at Kotu Creek and Cycle Track.  Dinner at Paradise Inn.
 
Day 7. Morning Bird Watching at Tanji Beach. Lunch at Paradise Inn. Leave for the Airport for flight home.

Adults £550 per person. Children under 16 years old half-price (£275).
